I use Facebook to keep up with Friends and Family, but that does not mean I want businesses to follow me there. It's good to have the option to follow a business, or interact with a business in multiple online formats. But, aggressive advertising is a constant frustration online.
stephs commented on January 24, 2011
I like the choice to decide if I want to follow a business on Facebook, which is way better than the spam emails that have filled up my inbox in the past. I used to do a lot more emailing, but have turned more to social media in the last couple of years.

I like the phone. My older family members don't use the computer, so it is really nice to hear their voices.

I use Facebook to keep up with friends and family. I do not want to be followed there by businesses. If that happens, I'll stop using Facebook.
mindofandre commented on January 25, 2011
Even though I enjoy Facebook, I have to agree with Debwar and say that I also enjoy using the phone. But as far as social media is concerned, Facebook gives me that fun glimpse into what is going on in their lives.

Facebook is my primary means of keeping intouch with my family and friends but I also have email and my own blog. I have family and friends all over the US and most of them also have a facebook. It's great because we can all go to one place to see pictures and keep up with each other.

Facebook enables me to keep up with my family all over the world. I have found cousins that I have not seen since we were teenagers! We share pictures, comments and family photos in real time.

I like Facebook to connect to Friends. I started to add Fan pages for businesses and decided I did not like that especially when you have to give the permission for your data and then they can post to your wall (advertisements)

Email is best for discussion, but blog is great for sharing pictures to a secured list of family members.
sasgg commented on January 26, 2011
I think this is a great way to get all the members involved so Blue Cross can make the right decisions

The cost of healthcare has become so unaffordable..but if everyone paid something then it would help bring the healthcare cost down..

Facebook is a great way to get in touch with lost friends and people all over the world. I have a Facebook acct and have made good friends in several countries. But I much prefer the privacy of email as far as actual communication goes. So many people have a Facebook acct that I worry abt things such as ID theft and I don't want the whole world to end up knowing about my personal life through some mistake of mine (like pressing the wrong key).

I use Facebook mainly now

I love to use Facebook. I can see what is going on without direct communication (or a brief communication), but it gives me a quick glance at the lives of my family and friends far and near!
Judy B. commented on February 1, 2011
For personal things I use direct email. For fun and socializing I enjoy Facebook. Twitter is currently my biggest source for quick updates and news on what's going on in the world of business, common interest activities and innovation.

I love the graphs to respresent the answers, but you really need a key with the questions. After you select your answer and you see the graph, it is hard to remember what the other choices were.

I keep up with tons of friends and family on Facebook. The most important people of course I talk with on the phone weekly, if not. more

Facebook is a great way to stay current on what's going on in the lives of numerous family and friends. But email is better for having a more personnal one-on-one conversation.
Atul P. commented on February 18, 2011
I like to use email becuase I am getting the message to the right person and the whole world does not need to see it on FB. But the younger generation would definitely not agree to that, my 14 year old daughter being a good example.

I prefer email.

I prefer email for family, but facebook for friends. I think twitter is useless.

I prefer facebook to keep in contact and reconnect with friends and family you have not seen or talked to for years.. Even though you may not talk all the time it is good to know that you are still connected to them.
Debi S. commented on March 30, 2011
Mainly facebook and email for me. I've recently reconnected with old high school friends and classmates that I have not seen since graduation in 1988 via facebook!
