Pool and picnics
Since my husband and I both work, we don't have a lot of choice but to have the kids go to camps.
We exercise at our local YMCA. Board games and maybe a movie in the afternoon. Crafts and reading too...
summer break = summer vacation!
We take our family vacation but my children are teenagers and they have part-time jobs...so they keep busy during the summer.
Spends time with her older sisters in other cities, and BAND CAMP.
My kids are really active and attend sports camps, swimming, lifeguard at the local pool, and take family vactions. We stay on the go all summer long!
We hang out at the pool, the kids usually have camps that start mid august, try to get them to read.
